Welsh Oil Paintings, Prints & Commissions

This red squirrel painting was inspired by a trip to New Biggin by the Sea in the north of England, where myself and 3 friends and fellow artists spend an afternoon watching red squirrels at woodland near Woodhorn Museum.
Red squirrels are rare in Wales, with the main populations on Anglesey, and in mid-Wales, but there are a few other sites that still have reds, like Caldey Island here in Pembrokeshire, and the Llanddewi Brefi/Tregaron area in Ceredigion.
