Mountain View, Preseli Painting

This landscape painting with it's remote beauty and very wild feel is a typical view up in the Preseli mountains here in west Wales. I had a lot of fun painting the dramatic sky in this Preseli painting, painted largely with a palette knife with very little brush work.

The view looks east across the Preseli mountains towards Carn Bica, Carn Menyn and Foel Drygarn in the distance.
