This exhibition at Stiwdio 3 Gallery was by a group of local artists who form the Cardigan Art Society, including myself – “The Albion Exhibition” was to help mark Cardigan town’s commemorations of it being 200 years since the emigrant ship Albion left Cardigan for Canada in 1819. The exhibition opening was on Monday, 15th April from 6pm, and which ran until 27th April 2019.

This exhibition is a part of a full programme in commemoration of the Albion voyage, hosted by Cymdeithas Aberteifi Society over the Easter break.

The exhibition was a great success, with some sales, a packed opening night reception and speeches by the Mayor and Mayoress of Cardigan.
