What is a Giclée Print?
Giclée is a French term meaning spraying of ink. Digital printers spray microscopic drops of color onto fine art papers or canvases. My prints are published on 189gsm museum quality fine art enhanced matt paper, using archival quality pigmented inks. This method can achieve tremendous detail. Traditional Litho printing typically uses a resolution of 300 dots of pigment per inch, whereas Giclee printers can achieve 1800dpi.
All landscape prints and wildlife prints are produced locally here in west Wales, and all prints are produced using the giclée printing process - Enclosed with each print is a signed certificate of authenticity.
